Private Wakesurf and Wakeboard Charter on Lake Tahoe: Learn, Cruise, and Ride the Emerald Water
Spend two private hours on Lake Tahoe’s crystalline water learning wakesurf or wakeboard behind a purpose-built MB wakeboat. Expect coached instruction, powerful surfable wakes, and scenic runs along the south shore.
The Experience
Before You Go
Arrive Early for Check-in
Plan to arrive 20–30 minutes before departure—the dock is at the far end of the Tahoe Keys parking lot and crews brief guests before boarding.
Bring Water-Resistant Sunscreen
The alpine sun reflects off the lake; use a reef-friendly, water-resistant SPF and reapply after swimming.
Wear Secure Footwear
Bring water shoes or slip-resistant sandals for boarding and when stepping onto rocky swim platforms.
Hydrate and Eat Light
Short, high-intensity sessions on the wakeboard require hydration and a light meal to avoid nausea on the waves.

Conservation Note
Boat operators follow invasive-species checks and encourage guests to clean gear; use reef-safe sunscreen and avoid discharge near shore to protect water clarity.
Lake Tahoe’s basin is glacial in origin and has long been home to the Washoe people; the lake’s clarity and shoreline settlements grew through 19th-century logging and 20th-century tourism.
