Key Largo Coral Reef Half-Day Snorkel Trip — John Pennekamp & Florida Keys Marine Sanctuary
Float over the only living coral barrier reef in the continental U.S. on a four-hour snorkel trip from Reefhouse Resort & Marina. Expect vivid coral gardens, sea turtles and guided reef briefings—plus a mangrove alternative if the weather turns.
The Experience
Before You Go
Sign waivers electronically before arrival
Complete the mandatory liability waiver ahead of time to speed check-in and board on time.
Use reef-safe sunscreen liberally
The operator supplies reef-safe sunscreen—reapply before entering the water and wear a UV shirt to reduce runoff.
Bring a refillable water bottle
The boat provides a cooler with cups; a reusable bottle keeps you hydrated without single-use plastic.
Protect the reef with your fins
Kick horizontally and avoid vertical finning near the bottom to prevent accidental contact with coral.
